Job Summary
Are you looking for a dynamic, hands-on role to gain invaluable experience before university or a postgraduate career? Join our vibrant community at Cranleigh Prep as a Gap Assistant on a fixed term contract (two terms) from January 2027 and make a genuine impact on students' lives. Please note this is not a live in position.
This is a varied and demanding position designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of a leading independent school's operations. You will be instrumental in enhancing pupils’ learning experiences, supporting their safety and well-being, and assisting with the smooth operation of both academic and pastoral life.
* Curriculum Support: Assist various academic departments and contribute to the daily learning environment.
* Pastoral Care: Support the Head of Boarding by supervising and delivering engaging activities for boarders outside of school hours.
* Co-Curricular Focus: Play a crucial role in sports and co-curricular activities, utilising your skills and interests.
* Operational Support: Undertake general duties that contribute to the positive and safe running of the school environment.
We are seeking enthusiastic and flexible individuals, ideally recent graduates or those taking a structured year out before university. You must be adaptable, keen to learn, and passionate about supporting young people.
