Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and dedicated School Cleaners to join our team during term time. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. If you are passionate about cleanliness and enjoy working in a dynamic school setting, this position is perfect for you! 10 hours per week Monday-Friday 16:30pm-18:30pm TERM TIME ONLY

Duties

• Perform commercial cleaning tasks across school premises, including classrooms, hallways, toilets, and communal areas
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures according to scheduled routines
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the designated supervisor promptly
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes in line with school policies
• Support the overall tidiness and presentation of the school environment

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Reliable with good time management skills
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures accurately
