About the role
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Electronics Engineer to join them on an initial 12-month basis. As Electronics Engineer you will join the Calibration & Maintenance Team, to service Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment. Some of these tasks include fault finding and repair of test equipment, supporting routine calibrations, commissioning of Test Equipment and drift analysis.

Pay: £32 -£35 per hour via Umbrella
Location: Stevenage
Contract: 12 months (possible extension)
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: SC Clearence needed however can start on BPSS
Skillset/experience required:
Minimum qualification: HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Experience and knowledge in the calibration of test equipment and maintenance of test systems to component level.
Able to utilise instructions, handbooks, drawings or specifications to provide technical advice/guidance. Able to use this information to conduct appropriate measurements and repairs down to component level.
Good understanding of calibration principles and processes.
Able to mentor other or more junior staff when requested by line manager.
Able to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Good communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to the relevant audience.
A good understanding of SAP would be desirable.
·Experience of working on Environmental Chambers an advantage.
