GuildfordTechnology – System Tools and Devops /Full -time /On-siteWith multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a DevOps Build Engineer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust build pipelines for each platformMonitor and continuously improve our automated build and CI systemsPartner with IT to scale and maintain build server infrastructureCreate and keep documentation of the build/release process up to dateSupport the release manager during patch releasesBe a go-to resource for teammates when they need a handRequirements 2+ years of industry experienceSolid hands-on knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelinesProficiency in a scripting language such as Ruby, Groovy, or PythonExperience automating workflows via shell/bash/cmd on Linux and/or WindowsFamiliarity with version control systems like Git, Perforce, or SVNClear communication skills, written and spoken, in EnglishComfortable collaborating with others and taking ownership of your workEnthusiasm for experimenting, iterating, and refining featuresStrong software design and problem-solving abilitiesNice To HavesExperience with Ansible or similar configuration management toolsFamiliarity automating C#/C++ builds (e.g., MSBuild, CMake)Exposure to full-stack developmentBackground working in the games industryWhat We Offer An international team of over 550 employees spread across 7 studios around the world, each of which have their own unique qualities, and maintain a small-studio feelAn open, collaborative environment where ideas are welcome and encouragedA managerial team consisting of highly experienced game developers at the top of their fieldsSharing hobbies and passions with like-minded colleaguesInclusive environment with many activities organized by the studios or the employeesCommitment to making the best game possible for the fans, including listening to community feedback
