Unqualified Roofing Teaching

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Roofer who wants to move away from the tools and into a new permanent teaching career. This role will support the delivery of both Tile and Slate Roofing and Flat Roof apprenticeship programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled roofing professional or construction trainer with experience in further education or apprenticeships to step into a well-established programme and support learner progression. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver practical and theoretical sessions across Tile & Slate and Flat Roofing apprenticeships * Support apprentices in developing industry-standard skills and knowledge * Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment in line with health and safety regulations * Monitor learner progress and provide feedback where required Requirements: * Relevant industry experience in roofing (essential) * Experience delivering training or working with apprentices/learners (preferred) * Strong communication and organisational skills Additional Information: * Full-time hours (37 per week) * Based on-site in Consett, County Durham * Short-term agency assignment covering two separate weeks Benifts Holidays 35 days a year plus flexi time on top Excellent penison Starting salary from 35k
