Static Air Conditioning Engineer  Tooting  Salary £50,000 per annum Benefits Company Credit Card for business expenses and travel Mobile Phone 25 Days Annual Leave rising incrementally to 30 days, plus Bank Holidays Private Healthcare after successful probation Pension Scheme (5% Employee / 3% Employer) Uniform Provided Tools Provided Death in Service Benefit – 2x Annual Salary Ongoing Training & Development Purpose of the Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Static Air Conditioning Engineer to join the engineering team supporting mixed used development in Tooting. The successful candidate will provide both reactive and planned maintenance services across all air conditioning and mechanical building systems within the site portfolio. The role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault finding, repairs, and minor works, whilst ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on all air conditioning and associated mechanical plant in accordance with the maintenance schedule. Diagnose faults, identify technical issues, and carry out repairs to air conditioning systems and associated equipment. Ensure full compliance with the Client’s Permit to Work system. Maintain a safe and healthy working environment at all times. Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and site stakeholders. Provide daily updates to the client regarding ongoing and completed works. Escort subcontractors on site where required and monitor works carried out. Conduct weekly visual inspections of the absorption chiller and report any concerns. Skills & Experience Required City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Proven experience in the maintenance and installation of mechanical building services and air conditioning systems. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation, Risk Assessments, and Environmental procedures. please send your cv in reply to this email if you are interested
