About the role
Registered Managers – Children’s Residential Homes (LD / EBD)
Locations: Shrewsbury, Derby & Retford
Salary: £57,250 – £67,500 (DOE & Qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Overview
We are recruiting for multiple Registered Managers to join a growing children’s residential care provider with services across Shrewsbury, Derby, and Retford. These are exciting opportunities for experienced leaders — or strong Deputies ready to step up — to join established and developing services supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
The organisation offers a supportive leadership structure, significant investment into its homes, and genuine opportunities for progression as services continue to grow.
Current Vacancies
Shrewsbury – Specialist Multi-Home Site
Salary: £60,000 – £67,500
A unique opportunity to oversee a specialist residential setting currently registered for 6 young people, with ongoing development to expand provision across three homes on one site.
The site includes:
* 2-bed home
* 4-bed home
* Newly developed 8-bed provision
Despite the size of the site, occupancy will remain carefully managed due to higher staffing ratios and complex care needs, ensuring high-quality, therapeutic support is maintained throughout.
This role would suit an experienced, highly organised Registered Manager comfortable overseeing larger-scale operations and complex care environments.
Derby – 2-Bed EBD Home
Salary: Up to £57,250
A fantastic opportunity to lead a smaller therapeutic home supporting young people with EBD. This role would suit either an experienced RM or a strong Deputy Manager looking for their first registration opportunity within a supportive environment.
Retford – Established & Expanding Service
Salary: £65,000 – £67,500
An established 3-bed home with plans for additional development and the potential for dual registration responsibilities in the future. Ideal for an ambitious manager seeking progression and long-term growth opportunities within a developing provider.
