About the role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Huddersfield to recruit a Teacher of Girls' Physical Education. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated PE specialist to inspire female pupils and promote physical wellbeing, teamwork and resilience through sport.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
Deliver high-quality PE lessons to girls across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and teach engaging, inclusive and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively
Contribute to extracurricular sporting activities and the wider life of the school
Promote positive behaviour, enthusiasm for learning and a healthy lifestyleThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
Have recent experience teaching Girls' PE in a secondary school setting
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Show enthusiasm, professionalism and a collaborative approach to working with staffWhat Veritas Education Offers:
