About the role
Food Production Operative
We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a dynamic fresh food production facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment. High-performing candidates who integrate well with the team may be considered for long-term or permanent opportunities as they arise.
Due to the site's location, candidates must have their own transport. Ideal for drivers based in York, Thirsk, or surrounding areas looking for early starts and early finishes.
Working Hours
Tuesday to Thursday: 6:00am - 5:00pm - Finish by early afternoonFood Production Operatives Key Responsibilities
Packing whole chickens into bags on the production line
Supporting general production line activities
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the factoryFood Production Operatives Skills and Experience
Previous experience in food production or a factory environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of food manufacturing processes is advantageous
Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
Ability to work effectively in a busy, physically demanding environmentFood Production Operatives Benefits
