Geotechnical Project Manager London - £40,000 - £45,000 Are you a Geotechnical Project Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity in a well-established and expanding geotechnical contractor/consultancy? This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced geotechnical professional to take ownership of complex ground investigation projects across major infrastructure and development schemes. The Role As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering multiple ground investigation and geotechnical engineering projects from initial client enquiry through to final reporting and project completion. You will act as the key point of contact for clients and internal technical teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and commercial performance. Key responsibilities include: Managing multiple ground investigation and geotechnical projects across London and the South East Overseeing project delivery from tender stage through to completion and reporting Coordinating site investigation works including drilling, sampling, and testing Reviewing interpretive geotechnical reports and providing technical oversight Managing project budgets, programmes, and resources Liaising directly with clients, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and geologists Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standardsAbout You Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or a related discipline Strong background in geotechnical engineering or ground investigation Proven experience managing geotechnical projects from start to finish Excellent client-facing and communication skills Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and programmes Working towards or holding professional chartership (CGeol / CEng) is desirableWhat's on Offer Competitive salary dependent on experience Car allowance and benefits package Clear progression to Senior/Associate level Opportunity to work on major infrastructure and development projects in London Supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing professional development and chartership supportThis is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Geotechnical Project Manager to join a growing business and play a key role in delivering high-profile projects across London
