Nursery Room Leader

Job Description:

Our client an established nursery school are seeking a passionate and energetic Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of their 2's room.

The Nursery is a large privately owned setting who's mission is to provide the best possible standard in childcare and education within a loving, stimulating and homely environment.

Your role:

In this vital role, you will lead a team of childcare professionals, create a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for young children and ensure that all activities promote their development and well-being. Your leadership will inspire a positive, safe and engaging space where children can thrive, learn, and grow.

Responsibilities:-

* Lead and manage daily nursery activities, ensuring a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children.

* Supervise and support a team of childcare assistants and educators.

* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that encourage curiosity, creativity and social development.

* Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs and daily experiences.

* Organise activities that promote early childhood development in areas such as language, motor skills and emotional regulation.

* Monitor the nursery environment regularly to uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and proper equipment maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Proven management and leadership experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.

* Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in childcare.

* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

* Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm, patience and professionalism.

Hours - Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (worked over 4 days with a set day off).
