Mechanical & Electrical Estimator Bridgwater Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 About the Role Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, our client is looking for a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Estimator to join its dynamic Estimating team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects while collaborating with experienced professionals in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. As a Mechanical & Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates across a range of construction projects, supporting both internal teams and external partners. Key responsibilities include: * Developing detailed M&E estimates from tender documentation, drawings, and specifications * Collaborating with designers, project managers, clients, and suppliers * Providing cost, design, and construction methodology advice * Leading negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers * Supporting value engineering and efficient design solutions * Assisting the Commercial team with variations and final accounts * Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Mentoring junior team members to strengthen team capability About you: You’ll be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering.
