Jordan Xavier Ltd provides supported accommodation and support services for young people as they transition towards greater independence and adulthood. Our approach is centred around providing safe, stable and supportive accommodation while helping young people develop the practical, emotional and social skills they need for independent living. We work closely with local authorities, social workers and other professionals to ensure that young people receive individualised support that reflects their needs, risks, aspirations and pathway plans. We are looking for an experienced and motivatedSenior Support Workerwho can combine high-quality direct work with young people with strong operational oversight of our supported accommodation services across London. About the Role:

This is a varied and responsible position for someone who is confident working independently, taking initiative and supporting the Registered Service Manager in maintaining high standards across the service. You will have responsibility for supporting the day-to-day operation of allocated accommodation, providing leadership and guidance to support staff, undertaking key-work with young people and ensuring properties remain safe, welcoming and well managed. The role requires someone who can balanceyoung-person support, safeguarding, staff oversight, housing management and compliance responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

Support the Registered Service Manager with the effective day-to-day operation of the service. Provide guidance, direction and support to Support Workers within allocated services. Build positive and professional relationships with young people and provide consistent, person-centred support. Undertake meaningful key-work sessions and support young people to develop independent living skills. Support young people with budgeting, education, employment, appointments, cooking, tenancy responsibilities and preparation for independent living. Ensure safeguarding concerns, incidents and risks are identified, recorded, escalated and managed appropriately. Maintain high standards of recording, reporting and case documentation. Liaise professionally with social workers, local authorities, education providers, health professionals and other agencies. Contribute to placement planning, risk assessments, support plans, reviews and professional meetings. Monitor accommodation standards and ensure properties remain safe, clean, welcoming and suitable for young people. Coordinate and report property maintenance issues and liaise with contractors and relevant external providers where required. Support housing-management responsibilities associated with the accommodation. Ensure staff and young people understand and follow relevant policies, procedures and house expectations. Contribute to service audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement. Promote a positive safeguarding culture and ensure practice is consistent with organisational policies and relevant regulatory requirements. Participate in the staff rota, including shifts and sleep-ins where required. Travel between Jordan Xavier services across London as required. Applicants must have: NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent relevant qualification. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior role within a social care, supported living or similar setting. Experience of working directly with young people or vulnerable individuals. Strong safeguarding knowledge and the confidence to respond appropriately to concerns. Good understanding of supported accommodation and relevant Ofsted requirements. Experience of key-working and supporting young people towards independence. Knowledge of housing-management processes and property maintenance. Experience of working with external professionals and local authorities. Strong written communication and report-writing skills. Good organisational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritise competing responsibilities and work effectively under pressure. A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the confidence to use initiative and take responsibility. Ability to provide leadership and guidance to other staff. Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins when required. Flexibility to travel between services within London. What We Are Looking For:

We are particularly interested in someone who ishands-on, organised and solutions-focused. You should be comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities rather than waiting to be directed, while recognising when matters need to be escalated to the Registered Service Manager. Most importantly, you should understand that good supported accommodation is about much more than providing somewhere to live. It is about creating stability, building relationships and helping young people develop the confidence and skills they need for adulthood. Pay:
