R&D Chemist

Halecroft Recruitment is delighted to support our client, a well-established business based in Trafford Park, in recruiting an R&D Chemist to join their specialist technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory-based Chemist to work across product development, innovation, performance testing, and technical support within a Lubricant Performance Additives environment. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and test development samples. * Conduct product performance evaluations and testing. * Support R&D and innovation projects. * Respond to technical service requests and customer queries. * Prepare and dispatch samples to customers and other facilities. * Support the day-to-day running of the laboratory. * Manage laboratory consumables, reagents, and safety equipment. * Maintain accurate records and test data. About You * Degree in Chemistry or relevant scientific discipline preferred. * A Levels in Chemistry and Maths as a minimum. * Substantial laboratory experience. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team. * Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. * Knowledge of the lubricants industry would be advantageous.
