We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components to meet precise specifications while ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. *Duties** Weld and assemble metal components using various welding technique.
* Fabricate parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
* Perform inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
* Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
* Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. *Requirements** Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the welding trade.
* Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
* Mechanical knowledge to understand and operate welding machinery effectively.
* Experience working with sheet metal is highly desirable.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
* Saw Skilled.
* Forklift license required.
