We can promise you rewarding work which makes a real impact, the chance to learn from inspiring colleagues from across a growing, global network and opportunities to grow personally and professionally.Our competitive package offers a wide range of benefits and rewards. The positionThe Associate Project Manager will manage engineering and related issues across a broad range of cross portfolio projects. The role may be involved in Wind, Solar & Battery Storage projects, assisting Asset Managers and Site Managers in the Management of the RES Asset Management, ensuring adherence to best practice for safety, quality, and environmental performance throughout the project lifecycle.The role will form part of the Operations Support and Advisory Team who support the Global Asset Management Teams with the integration and adoption of projects into the portfolio, as well as the implementation of new services that are developed by the team.Organisational ContextThe Associate Project Manager will report to the Senior Operations Support Manager, joining a team of Associate Project Managers with broad experience across Wind, Solar and Battery Storage. They will have an influential role as part of the Operations Support and Advisory Team in leading, developing and ensuring the performance of the Additional Services that are provided to our customers. Additional services are those outside the scope of our Asset Management agreements.The Associate Project Manager shall work across all disciplines, understanding the procurement, contract, technical and site requirements related to each project.The role will promote and enhance the Operations Support and Advisory Team and shall be highly visible role within Asset Management, with occasional travel required to regional offices or sites within the portfolio. The role can be based in any of our regions where we have an Asset Management presence, there will be opportunities to support projects in other regions or countries.AccountabilitiesThe Associate Project Manager will:Help ensure high HSQE standards across our portfolioAct as Onboarding Lead by:Managing the onboarding of new renewable energy assets into the asset management portfolio before they are handed to an Asset ManagerEnsuring all elements of the Onboarding Process are completed by collaborating with other teams including OT, AOS, Finance, Control centre.Act as Project Manager on Additional Services projects by:Identifying opportunities within the Asset Management portfolioDeveloping and executing Additional Services activity from owner approval to completion on Wind, Solar & Storage AssetsEnsuring compliance and deliverables are met, including direct supervision of various works and oversight of contractors as requiredLeading on specific contract improvement plans to support the Commercial AM TeamAct as Project Manager for the Asset Management team by:Developing risk, compliance, and performance processes which support growth and cost reduction targetsSupporting other teams within RES Services including Advisory, ESG, Commercial, and OT/Cyber Act as Project Manager on Cyber Assessment of operational assets by:Working with 3rd party suppliers to deliver Cyber Security AssessmentsWorking with RES Operational Technology Team to upgrade OT hardware on operational assets and maintain the hardwareSupport the Operations Support and Advisory Team by:Leading on areas of personal expertise as part of the Operations Support and Advisory Team objectives.Actively participating in Continuous Improvement, Innovation and Standardisation activities to develop RES servicesKnowledgeKnowledge of any or all renewable technology projects (Wind, Solar & Storage) in either design, construction, or operationsKnowledge of Cyber Security on renewable assets (preferable)Health and safety management systemsCDM RegulationsQuality and environmental management systemsProject financial managementFluency in English with knowledge of other languages advantageous (French and / or Spanish)SkillsWillingness to learn new systems and skills and the confidence to identify opportunities and deliver to themPeople ManagementTeamworkCommunicationInitiativeSelf-motivatedPlanning and organisingAttention to DetailCompleter finisherAbility to manage multiple projects at the same timeExperienceProjects and / or Asset Management in a Renewable engineering environment.At least 1 years’ experience of Grid Scale Wind, Solar and/ or Storage projectsOn site work management – OT, SCADA, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical preferredContract ManagementInterpretation of engineering drawings, work instructions and design reviews.Managing budgets and project costsContract specification review and preparationQualificationsDegree/HND Engineering or science qualifications or equivalent experienceProject Management qualification or equivalent experienceAt RES, we celebrate differences as we know it makes our company a great place to work.
