Female Support Worker Margate
£25,845 per annum (pro rata)
Full-time (39 hours) and part-time (30 hours) contracts available
A full UK automatic driving licence is essential, and you must be willing to drive the service vehicle.

About the Role
We're looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Female Support Workers to join our friendly teams across our services in Margate.
You'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, epilepsy, complex needs and mobility needs, empowering them to live as independently as possible while achieving their personal goals.
Some of the people we support use wheelchairs, so you'll be confident providing person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice and independence.
Our services are located in residential areas close to Margate town centre and benefit from good public transport links. A driving licence is essential so you can support people to attend appointments, enjoy activities and access their local community using the service vehicle.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are ever the same. As a Support Worker, you'll:

Support people to live as independently as possible and achieve their personal goals

Assist with everyday tasks including cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a home

Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life

Support people to build and maintain relationships with family and friends

Provide dignified, person-centred personal care where required

Assist people with mobility needs using appropriate equipment and safe moving and handling techniques (full training provided)

Help create meaningful experiences, celebrate achievements and make every day enjoyable
