HVAC Design Manager

MEP Design Manager (HVAC) | Contract | Inside IR35 North Acton Hybrid Working - Minimum 3 days office / 2 days WFH £550 - £650 per day (Inside IR35) Initial contract to March 2027 with strong likelihood of extension We are currently recruiting for an MEP Design Manager (HVAC) to join a major infrastructure programme delivering complex shaft and head-house fit-out works. This is a long-term opportunity for a proactive individual who can take ownership of MEP design responsibilities and drive packages through to successful completion. This role is ideal for someone with strong HVAC design management/co-ordination experience who enjoys coordinating multiple stakeholders, overcoming technical challenges, and ensuring design compliance on large-scale infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Manage HVAC-focused MEP design packages from concept through to completion. Work closely with the MEP Package Manager to drive programme delivery. Lead design reviews, approvals, certification processes, and final sign-off. Manage HVAC deliverables and resolve technical issues Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and design obligations. Coordinate and manage HVAC supply chain partners across the project. Drive design packages through approval gateways and into delivery.Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC/MEP Design Manager, Design Coordinator, or similar role. Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and MEP design delivery. Experience delivering MEP packages on major infrastructure, rail, construction, or civil engineering projects. Ability to manage design approvals, technical submissions, and certification processes. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and deliver results. CSCS White or Black Card preferred. Candidates without a current card must be willing and able to obtain oneWhat's on Offer?
