Counterbalance Driver / Yard Operative

An in date Counterbalance license is required
Duties
Safely operate counterbalance forklifts to load and unload goods with precision.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Support warehouse management by organizing materials, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Handle materials efficiently through proper lifting techniques and heavy equipment operation for heavy lifting tasks.
Participate in shipping and receiving activities, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies to promote a safe workplace for all team members.
Experience
Proven experience operating counterbalance forklift equipment in a warehouse or distribution setting.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker operations.
Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes including load & unload procedures, inventory control, and materials handling.
Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus.
Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory counts and measurements.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety standards.
