A great chance to be a Financial Accountant for a fast-growing software company who offer hybrid working arrangement based in their modern Worcester office. Main Duties:
As a Financial Accountant, your main duties include:
* Partner with senior management, department heads, and key stakeholders across the business.
* Report to the Head of FP&A, delivering financial planning and analysis to Directors on portfolio performance.
* Develop financial and strategic plans across multiple country portfolios and property sectors (e.g. industrial, residential), as well as at an organisational level.
* Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for various regions and asset classes, consolidating these into a group-wide budget.
* Analyse historical financial performance and investments, including competitor benchmarking and market trend analysis, providing clear and insightful commentary to management.
* Build and maintain robust financial models to support growth projections, performance forecasting, and return on investment analysis.
* Review budgets and forecasts, perform variance analysis, and clearly explain key drivers of discrepancies.
* Conduct trend analysis to generate insights and support data-driven decision-making.
* Recommend process improvements and provide guidance on financing structures, including the use of debt and equity where appropriate.
Location / Office / Culture
The business hosts a great culture in their team, and the role is hybrid with 3 days in the office based in Worcester. You’ll work closely with the Financial Director, who has been with the business for a long time making him a great mentor.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* ACA/ACCA qualified
* Experience leading finance teams across reporting and commercial functions, with a track record of delivering finance projects.
* Experience preparing financial statements, with strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of relevant standards.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Enthusiastic, hardworking, and meticulous, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
