Job description: Senior Care Staff
Job Purpose:
To provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents while supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the home. The Senior Carer will lead shifts, supervise care staff, and ensure all care standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support care staff during shifts
Deliver and oversee person-centred care in line with Service User’s care plans
Administer and manage medication in accordance with company / NHS policy
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Liaise with healthcare professionals, residents, and families
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding policies
Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing of all residents
Essential Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Senior Carer
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good understanding of care standards and safeguarding
Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
Experience working with older adults and mental health conditions
Personal Attributes:
Compassionate xwzovoh and patient
Reliable and professional
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills
Working Hours:
Full Time & Part-time, including weekends
