Location: Holbeach
Shift Pattern: 6:30am–6:30pm (or operational equivalent)
Hours: 12-hour shifts with a 45-minute unpaid break and a 15-minute paid break
Rota: 2-week rolling pattern
About the Role
We are seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operation of a designated production line. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 8 employees, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational requirements are met in a safe and efficient manner.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting team performance and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of production operatives.
* Monitor production performance to ensure targets and customer requirements are achieved.
* Manage labour, materials, and equipment effectively throughout the shift.
* Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, housekeeping, and food safety.
* Ensure production documentation and records are completed accurately.
* Support the training and development of new and existing team members.
* Promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure safe working practices are followed.
* Escalate operational, quality, and people-related issues when appropriate.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
About You
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Effective time management skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good numeracy skills.
* Experience working to operational targets or KPIs.
Desirable
* Experience within a manufacturing, production, food production, or fresh produce environment.
