Key responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers to presentation for inspection and reload on to trailers.
Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE
Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested
Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection process
Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training
Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives
Maintain the inspection environment following training
Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and offices
The ideal candidate will have:
Logistics experience in a large fast-moving environment
Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. loading, unloading vehicles.
Forklift licence/experienceideal. xwzovoh
Shift patterns will be any 4/7 12hrs per day
You would be required towork Daysandnights 6am-6pm/6pm-6am
To be eligible you need:
NO unspent convictions and be able to pass a basic Criminal Record Check/Disclosure (DBS check)
Ability to provide 3 years referencing contacts and have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
