People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.
This position is ideal for candidates seeking roles as an LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver , or Truck Driver .
Shifts:
Working five days out of seven (including some weekend working)
AM starts between 05:00 – 07:00
Rates of Pay:
£18.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver , your day-to-day duties will include:
Monday to Friday working
Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
Completing 6–7 flatbed deliveries across the Northwest
Ensuring all loads are safely and correctly strapped
Taking photographs to document successful deliveries
Addressing any customer concerns and reporting them promptly to your line manager
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver are:
A minimum of 12 months' experience as a Category C Driver
Valid UK Category C driving licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences
(no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 )
No major endorsements
Strong customer service skills
Desirable Experience:
Previous flatbed HGV experience
Training Provided:
First-day assessment followed by two weeks of training alongside a permanent staff member
Industry-related training and ongoing support
