Were looking for a Commercial Surveyor to play a key role in maintaining and improving our student and keyworker accommodation. This is a varied, hands-on surveying role where youll take ownership of repairs, maintenance, voids and planned works, working closely with contractors, colleagues and residents to ensure high standards, safety and compliance.

Youll bring your professional judgement to real-world challenges, diagnosing defects, managing contracts, overseeing quality on site and balancing cost, compliance and customer experience. What youll need

• At least 2 years experience as a building surveyor in a residential environment.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates, specifications, tenders, contract documents and carry out duties of contract administrator.
• Can communicate answers and solutions confidently to customers/colleagues face to face, by phone and by writing in customer friendly language
• Be attentive to detail when writing specifications, checking work and materials.
• Strong contract management skills and budget management controls.
• Able to manage a flexible and demanding workload to meet agreed targets and deadlines.
