Pipefitter/Welder

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for Pipefitter/Welders based in the Kilmarnock area of East Ayrshire.

Pay rates: 18 to 20 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm. Friday, 7am to 12pm

As Pipefitter/Welder, your responsibilities will include measuring, fabricating, welding and installing pipework both in workshops and on customer sites.

The ideal Pipefitter/Welder will be:

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
• Able to understand the required tools, materials, and welding methods
• Mindful of company safety systems
• Experienced in welding (minimum of 3 years)
• Able to work from drawings and plans
• Able to examine completed welds to ensure they are free of defects, and are smooth and functional
