Estimator – Civil Engineering / Water Infrastructure Location: Hybrid/Flexible Salary: Competitive + excellent benefits Help shape the UK's critical infrastructure. We're recruiting an Estimator to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the water sector. Working as part of an established pre-construction team, you'll play a key role in securing work on high-value frameworks, collaborating with bid, planning, procurement and operational teams to produce accurate, competitive tenders. What you'll be doing * Preparing accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects across the water sector. * Reviewing tender documents, drawings and Bills of Quantities to develop robust pricing and methodologies. * Working closely with bid, planning and procurement teams to identify risks, opportunities and key assumptions. * Presenting estimates at tender adjudications and supporting client negotiations where required. * Providing detailed handovers to delivery teams following contract award. What we're looking for * Estimating experience within civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities. * Knowledge of projects such as pipelines, MEICA, tunnelling, shafts, rail civils or groundworks. * Strong commercial awareness with experience producing tender build-ups and using estimating software (Candy or similar). * Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating across technical and operational teams. * Proficient in Microsoft Office.
