We are seeking an experienced reliable Guillotine Operator to join a family-owned manufacturing company based in Coleshill.
Operate guillotine machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.
Set up and adjust the guillotine to meet specified cutting requirements.
Accurately measure, mark and cut materials to the required dimensions.
Read and interpret job sheets, drawings and cutting specifications.
Check finished work for accuracy, quality and consistency.
Carry out routine machine checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
Maintain accurate production records and complete relevant paperwork.
Ensure materials are handled, stored and prepared correctly.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
Follow all company health and safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Minimise material waste and contribute to efficient production.
Work closely with colleagues, supervisors and other departments to meet production deadlines.
Undertake other reasonable production duties as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating a guillotine machine
Good understanding of production processes and quality requirements.
Ability to accurately measure and work to specified dimensions.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Commitment to workplace health and safety.
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team. xwzovoh
Physically capable of handling materials safely where required.
