This opportunity combines ownership of management accounts with financial modelling, analysis and exposure to acquisition work. You’ll support a growing group as it integrates newly acquired entities, giving you plenty of variety and the chance to use your numbers to answer genuine commercial questions.Reporting to the finance leadership team, you will be responsible for:Producing monthly management accounts for 3-4 entities, including newly acquired businessesCarrying out ad hoc financial analysis to support commercial and operational decisionsBuilding financial models to assess mileage and non-mileage rates across different entitiesAnalysing the financial impact of changesSupporting due diligence activity relating to acquisitionsReviewing contracts, leases and underlying performance to understand profitabilityAnalysing and validating adjusted EBITDA as part of acquisition What you will need:Previous experience in a similar finance role, such as Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or Commercial AccountantStrong experience producing monthly management accountsGood analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and investigate what sits behind the numbersExperience of financial modelling and ad hoc analysisConfidence working across multiple entities or business unitsA commercially minded approach, particularly when reviewing profitability and financial performanceSector experience isn’t essentialWhat you will get:25 days annual leave + bank holidaysHybrid workingFlexible hours Product discountsCareer development & progression If you would like to find out more about this role, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn PDF.
