Senior Care Assistant (Days) Location – Marton Moss, Blackpool Permanent | Day Shifts Are you an experienced Senior Care Assistant looking for your next opportunity with a care provider that truly values both its residents and its team? About You The ideal candidate will be a caring and confident individual with previous senior care experience and a genuine passion for supporting older people. You will have: A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Health & Social Care. Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant within a residential or nursing care setting. Experience administering medication and leading shifts. A thorough understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding. Excellent communication and leadership skills. The ability to support, mentor and motivate other members of the care team. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly with care planning and record keeping. A compassionate, reliable and professional approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding care. The Role As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive the highest standards of care whilst providing guidance and support to the wider care team. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and supporting the care team throughout your shift. Delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Administering medication in line with company policies. Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding appropriately to changing needs. Updating care records and communicating effectively with colleagues, healthcare professionals and families. Promoting dignity, independence and choice for every resident. What's on Offer? Competitive salary of around £14.50 per hour, depending on experience.
