We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to join our busy hotel kitchen team in West Sussex.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef who enjoys working in a varied hotel environment, with a particular interest in events, weddings, banqueting and private functions. You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service across the hotel.

The successful candidate will be a confident and organised chef who can lead a team during busy service periods and remain calm under pressure. Experience in a hotel, events or high-volume catering environment would be highly advantageous.

• Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service, ensuring a professional and positive working environment.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality food to the required standards and specifications.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of weddings, banquets, conferences, private dinners and other events.
• Ensure event menus are delivered consistently and on time, working closely with the events and front-of-house teams.
