Counterbalance / Reach FLT Driver - Goods In Markham Vale, Chesterfield £13.27 per hour + Overtime | Rotating Days | Temp to Perm Looking for a long-term FLT Driver role within engineering rather than a busy distribution warehouse? Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is recruiting for a Counterbalance / Reach FLT Driver to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Markham Vale. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for unloading HGVs, booking in deliveries, moving heavy steel, alloy and engineering materials using FLT equipment, carrying out visual quality inspections and supplying materials to production. This opportunity would suit experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers, Reach Truck Drivers, Goods In Operatives, Warehouse Operatives, Stores Operatives, Materials Handlers and Stock Controllers looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with genuine long-term prospects. Working Hours Week 1 Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm Friday: 6:00am – 10:00am Week 2 Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm Friday: 10:00am – 2:00pm Pay: £13.27 per hour Key Responsibilities Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT equipment to unload, transport and store heavy steel, alloy and engineering materials. Receiving, checking and booking in incoming deliveries. Moving long, heavy and awkward loads safely around the warehouse and production facility. Carrying out visual quality inspections on incoming materials. Checking delivery notes and updating stock records. Supplying materials to production departments. Supporting warehouse and stock control activities. Maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards. What We're Looking For Previous Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT experience. Experience within Goods In, Warehouse, Stores or Manufacturing. Experience handling heavy materials within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment would be advantageous. Good attention to detail and quality standards. A reliable and safety-conscious approach. Looking for a long-term opportunity. What's on Offer? £13.27 per hour Weekly pay. Temp to perm opportunity.
