About The Role

Electrical Engineer – Cardiff office (Cardiff, UK)

You will work within a highly skilled, diverse team that balances large national and international schemes with agile project delivery. In this role you’ll be responsible for the electrical design and delivery of significant, complex projects, and you will develop strong working relationships with the wider project team to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed, coordinated and cost‑efficient electrical design advice to a varied client list.
• Develop comprehensive specifications, calculations and reports.
• Design electrical engineering systems at the highest level using industry standard software packages.
• Take responsibility for solid technical delivery alone or as part of a team.
• Explore new ways of working and support innovation and research.
• Produce clear calculations, reports and specifications with strong written communication skills.
• Attend designer‑technology meetings, client meetings and site inspections.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, delivering complex projects.
• Experience with modern technical delivery processes and tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux.
• Demonstrated experience working with clients, contractors and architects in a design‑oriented consulting environment.
• Self‑awareness, an open mind and a spirit of generosity.
• Experience supporting others in developing knowledge, skills, and confidence.
