Construction Trade Operative (Multi-Trade) *WORKING WITH A LEADING MODERN CONSTRUCTION OUTFIT* *EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITES* Location: West Midlands Salary: £200–£230 per day (depending on experience) Benefits: Company van provided or van allowance About the Role We are seeking experienced and reliable Construction Trade Operatives to join our growing team, delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works within occupied and void social housing properties across the West Midlands. We are looking for candidates who have strong experience in at least one of the following trades: Carpentry Bathroom Fitting Kitchen Fitting Plastering Wall & Floor Tiling This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople who take pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works in social housing properties. Complete kitchen and bathroom installations where applicable. Perform carpentry, plastering, tiling, or other trade-specific works to a high standard. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations. Maintain a clean and tidy working environment. Communicate professionally with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors. Accurately complete job sheets and associated paperwork using handheld devices where required. Identify and report any additional repair requirements. Essential Requirements Proven experience in at least one of the following trades: Carpentry Bathroom Fitting Kitchen Fitting Plastering Wall & Floor Tiling Experience working within social housing, property maintenance, or domestic refurbishment. Full UK driving licence. Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work. Good communication and customer service skills. Desirable Multi-trade experience. Experience working in occupied properties. Relevant NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a recognised trade. CSCS Card (preferred). Asbestos Awareness certification. DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
