About the role
TSA is currently seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to join a consultancy on a freelance basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a consistent pipeline of projects across Housing Associations and Local Authorities in and around London.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections relating to disrepair claims across residential properties
Diagnose defects including damp & mould, structural issues, and general building failures
Produce detailed reports, including scopes of works and cost estimates
Manage cases from initial inspection through to completion
Oversee contractors and ensure works are delivered on time and to a high standard
Liaise with tenants, legal teams, and internal stakeholdersWhat’s on Offer
Outside IR35 engagement
Competitive rate per survey
Ongoing workload across multiple clients
Projects located in and around LondonRequirements
Proven experience in a disrepair surveying role (Housing Association or Local Authority experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of building pathology, particularly damp xwzovoh & mould
Experience managing contractors and disrepair cases
Ability to produce clear and concise technical reports
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Relevant qualification (HNC/HND, degree in Building Surveying, or professional accreditation such as RICS/MRICS)Interested? Apply with an up-to date CV and i'll be in touch
