About the Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role may involve supporting pupils with: Autism (ASC) – providing structure and communication support ADHD – helping pupils stay engaged and focused Challenging behaviour – using patience and positive strategies to encourage progress Learning difficulties (MLD/PMLD) – adapting learning to meet individual needs Mental health needs (SEMH) – building trust and emotional resilience What We’re Looking For The role requires: ✔️ Patience, empathy, and resilience ✔️ A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs ✔️ Good communication and teamwork skills ✔️ Flexibility to adapt to different needs and settings Previous experience in schools, care, or youth work is desirable but not essential — we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are eager to learn.
