Job Overview

The Village Hotel Club is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our leisure club, pub & grill, and hotel operations. The role focuses on delivering commercial returns, maintaining brand standards, and driving outstanding guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the group strategy to achieve commercial returns.
  • Drive and uphold brand standards and profit performance.
  • Ensure quality and value that guarantees exceptional hospitality.
  • Create an engaged team through development, rewards, and recognition.
  • Achieve excellent guest satisfaction, audit and internal audit scores.
  • Communicate transactional marketing strategies to Heads of Department.
  • Build strong relationships with marketing and build brand awareness via inbox and social media.
  • Participate in recruitment and promotion of all employees.
  • Use KPIs to benchmark hotel departments, focusing on underperformers to drive improvement.
  • Maintain consistent brand standards through constant monitoring and detail orientation.

Qualifications

Experience in a similar environment with proven ability to deliver commercial and operational results; warm, personable nature and can‑do attitude.
