About the role

Role Overview

We have a great opportunity for a Senior/Associate Planner to join our Scotland Planning Team based in our Glasgow office. The ideal candidate will be MRTPI and/or RICS qualified and ideally have experience in the Infrastructure and/or renewable energy sector with EIA experience.

This role will involve managing your own workload, assisting senior team members on large instructions, EIA screening and scoping exercises, undertaking planning research and enquiries, drafting and finessing reports and planning submissions (site assessments, policy notes, applications, appeals, development plan representations and so on) as well as assisting with the management of the team’s caseload and its business development activities. The role will be based in our Glasgow office with an element of hybrid working an option.

Responsibilities

Team Overview

The team is involved in a wide range of projects across the energy, infrastructure, commercial, housing and rural sectors. This role is important within the Glasgow Team to help deliver a wide range of exciting and high profile projects, including EIA development. While the role will primarily focus on renewable energy projects, the successful candidate will have opportunities to work on other projects including city centre regeneration, strategic land, retail, rural and logistics.
