We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and Trailers .
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, 6 weekly inspections and MOT preparation to DVSA standard
You will be required to flexible and undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance, inspection, MOT preparation and repair of our growing HGV fleet.
- 6 Weekly inspection
- MOT Preparation
- Minor Defect Repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Class 1 HGV licence (preferred but not essential
-IRTEC HGV Inspection Technician certificate. xwzovoh (preferred but not essential].
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
