Machine Operative

Position: Machine Operative Location: Stevenage Rate of Pay: £12.71 - £13.57 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm Contract Type: Ongoing, with a view to permanent employment Are you an experienced Machine Operative looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced and growing print production environment? Our client, a well-established print company based in Stevenage, is seeking a motivated Machine Operative to join their team on an ongoing basis, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff. About the Role As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery within the print department, ensuring high-quality output and meeting daily production targets. This position would also suit someone who has worked as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Manufacturing Operative looking to develop their skills within a reputable print company. Key Responsibilities * Operate and monitor machinery in a print production environment * Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines * Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines * Follow health and safety procedures at all times * Work collaboratively with other Machine Operatives and production staff Required Skills and Experience * Previous experience as a Machine Operative, Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Print Machine Operative * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills and Experience * Previous experience working in a print company or printing environment (desirable but not essential) * Familiarity with print production machinery or experience as a Print Production Assistant If you are a hands-on Machine Operative seeking a long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent position, we would love to hear from you.
