Team Leader, Children's Residential Home (EBD)
About the role
Location: Greenford, West London
We are recruiting an experienced Team Leader for a children's residential home in Greenford supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands on with young people while taking the lead on shift.
The role
* Lead shifts and make sure the home runs safely and smoothly
* Support, guide and role model good practice for residential support workers
* Help young people with their education, independence skills and emotional wellbeing
* Keep accurate records, daily logs and incident reports
* Work alongside the management team to meet Ofsted standards
What we are looking for
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or working towards it
* At least 1 year's experience in children's residential care, ideally with some shift leading experience
* Good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour support
* Resilient, patient and calm under pressure
* Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply) and the right to work in the UK
* [Full UK driving licence]
