Voice Activated Order Picker – Royton 📍 Royton 💷 £12.71 per hour 🕗 Sunday – Friday (with 1 day off in between) ⏰ 8:00am – 4:30pm 📄 Temporary Ongoing Role We are currently recruiting for a Voice Activated Order Picker to join a busy warehouse team based in Royton. This Order Picker role is ideal for candidates who enjoy fast-paced warehouse work and are comfortable working in chilled temperatures. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders using a voice activated headset system whilst working within a busy distribution warehouse. Duties of the Order Picker: Picking orders throughout the warehouse Taking instructions through a voice activated headset Using a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Stacking picked orders safely onto pallets Shrink wrapping orders ready for despatch Working to targets within a busy warehouse environmentAbout the Order Picker role: This Order Picker position is physically demanding and involves a lot of walking, lifting, and manual handling throughout the shift. The Order Picker will also be required to work within chilled warehouse areas and cold temperatures. As you will be moving in and out of chilled areas, we strongly recommend that all Order Pickers wear several layers of warm clothing. We are looking for Order Pickers who: Have previous warehouse or order picking experience Are comfortable working in chilled conditions Have good attention to detail Are reliable and hardworking Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Order Picker looking for ongoing temporary work with immediate starts available.
