About the Role
We are working with a welcoming and supportive 2 form entry mainstream primary school in Harrow that is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated KS1 or KS2 Teacher for September.
The school prides itself on creating a positive and inclusive environment where both children’s wellbeing and staff wellbeing are a key focus. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high expectations within the classroom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, creating a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils both academically and emotionally. The school is open to considering teachers with experience in either KS1 or KS2.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Differentiate learning to support pupils of all abilities, including SEN and EAL pupils
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and school activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching within KS1 or KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A creative and engaging approach to lesson planning and delivery
• A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (UDS), or willingness to apply for one
