Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Contractor Location: Central London Salary: £50,000–£65,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits Sector: Main Contracting | Mixed-Use | Education | Leisure | Healthcare | Life Sciences A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor within their London & Home Counties division. What You’ll Be Doing * Manage commercial duties across a range of projects within the Home Counties region * Produce accurate cost plans, valuations, forecasts and commercial reports * Support procurement, subcontractor management and change control * Work closely with project teams to ensure financial targets are achieved * Contribute to 2-stage tenders and framework submissions * Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams * Ensure all commercial processes are followed in line with company standards What We’re Looking For * Tier 1 main contractor experience (essential) * Experience working on 2-stage projects (essential) * Mixed-use project experience (essential) * Additional experience in education, leisure, healthcare or life sciences is highly desirable * Strong commercial acumen and understanding of construction methodology * Ability to manage your own workload and work independently * HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management * Strong communication and negotiation skills What’s on Offer * £50,000–£65,000 salary * Car or car allowance * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Enhanced pension * Private medical cover * Additional employee benefits * Clear progression opportunities within a Tier 1 environment If you’re an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to develop your career with a respected Tier 1 contractor, this is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and supportive team
