Intermediate Estimator Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits Package An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Estimator to join an established and growing building contractor based in the Lutterworth area, just south of Leicester. The company delivers a diverse range of commercial, healthcare and education projects, alongside refurbishment, fit-out and smaller works. They have developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and have built long-standing relationships with a repeat client base, particularly within the healthcare sector. As an Intermediate Estimator, you will support the pre-construction team in producing competitive and commercially accurate tenders, working across a varied portfolio of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to take the next step in their career within an established business where there is scope to develop and take on increasing responsibility. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing accurate and competitive tenders and estimates * Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation * Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations * Preparing bills of quantities and cost breakdowns * Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider pre-construction team * Identifying commercial risks and opportunities * Supporting the team through the tender process from enquiry to submission * Developing strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers The Ideal Candidate: * Experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry * Experience across commercial, healthcare, education, refurbishment or fit-out projects would be advantageous * Good understanding of construction methods, materials and costs * Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness * Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications * Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders * Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing construction business Salary & Benefits: * Up to £60,000 * Company benefits package * Long-term career development * Established and supportive working environment * Opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of construction projects If you're an Intermediate Estimator looking for your next opportunity in the Leicestershire area, I'd be keen to have a confidential conversation and provide further information
