This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. * Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards. * Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of ingredients. * Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. * Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings that reflect current culinary trends. * Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes served. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. * Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment. * Experience in team management, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively. * Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen. * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. xkybehq * A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes is essential.
