About the role
We are currently looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Lining Operative to join our team at our Broxburn depot.
This is a hands-on role that is essential to ensuring our lining stock and equipment are prepared, maintained and ready to support projects across the business.
The Role
As a Lining Operative, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and managing lining stock, ensuring the correct materials are allocated to each job, and keeping your working area clean, safe and organised at all times.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager to support the smooth day-to-day running of operations and ensure all deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out stock rotation to ensure efficient stock management.
• Wash, dry and prepare lining walls and associated equipment to company standards.
• Complete regular stock counts and report any discrepancies, shortages or damaged items.
• Identify and prepare the correct lining requirements for each job.
• Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager regarding stock levels, workloads and operational requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties within the department.
• Report any equipment faults, maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Support other operational activities when required.

Essential Skills & Experience
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Basic numerical skills for stock control and stock counting.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Previous experience within a warehouse, operations, events or stock management environment.
• Experience using inventory management systems.
• An understanding of health and safety procedures.
