Pakistani Cuisine Chef

Location: Manchester Airport, Manchester Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef with strong knowledge of authentic Pakistani cuisine to join our team at Manchester Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced airport environment, preparing high-quality meals for a diverse range of customers. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Pakistani dishes to a high standard. * Develop and maintain menu items that reflect traditional Pakistani flavours and cooking techniques. * Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and served in accordance with company standards. * Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health, and safety. * Manage food stock, storage, and ordering requirements. * Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency. * Assist with menu planning and introducing new dishes. * Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and airport operational requirements. Requirements * Proven experience as a Chef specialising in Pakistani cuisine. * Strong knowledge of traditional Pakistani recipes, spices, and cooking methods. * Ability to prepare a wide range of dishes including curries, biryanis, kebabs, naan breads, and vegetarian options. * Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred). * Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. * Strong organisational and time-management skills. * Ability to work well within a team and under pressure. * Right to work in the UK. Desirable Skills * Experience working in restaurants, catering, hotels, or airport food outlets. * Knowledge of menu costing and stock control. * Basic English communication skills.
