Senior Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a renowned tier 1 main contractor with an upcoming major project in Southampton. The business operates nationally and has regional offices across the country, undertaking projects across both the public and private sectors valuing between £20mil - £100mil+. They have recently secured an exciting £160mil project in the centre of Southampton, and are now looking to build the commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working as Commercial Lead and have a team of 3 surveyors reporting into you. Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tenders Oversee the teams procurement / management of sub-contractor packages Deal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may arise Liaise with the clients teams Mentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional development Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC Have experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account Be proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NEC Must live in a commutable location to Southampton Must have the full right to work in the UK Whats on offer for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: Salary: Up to £95k Car Allowance / Company Car Excellent flexi benefits Clear progression pathways & additional training This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established main contractor with a solid reputation on the South Coast.
