General Maintenance Assistant

General Maintenance Assistant - based out of Newport Gwent - Permanent job FYI - this role will involve working at heights * £28,000 - £30,000 pa * Days - Monday to Friday * Permanent * Newport Purpose of job: Working as part of two person team carrying out minor repairs to supermarket roof tops plus using brushes to clean the roof tops of accumulated debris. The position will involve working at heights and accessing the rooftops of supermarket buildings with a cherry picker, for which training will be given. Essential Requirements: * All applicants must be happy to work at heights * Basic maintenance and repair experience is an advantage * Ability to use hand tools and brushes * UK driving licence * IPAF would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given. * Newport This is a fantastic opportunity for permanent work in a superb organisation, ideal for applicants with basic maintenance and repair experience, a willingness to work at heights and living in areas such as Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Caerleon, Magor, Rogerstone and the areas close to Newport in Gwent.
